Raife's 2 Month Appt.

Oh, Raife had his 2 month check up today! Brett took him because I had a little "surgical" appointment. It wasn't surgery but it was done at a surgery center. I've had a bad back for like 6 years and it flares up every once in a while...its a bulging disc. I think it flared up this time from hawling sweet baby Raife...who is a tank now...around all the time!lol Anyway, I just had an injection into the bad disc, but so far it hasn't helped much.

Anyway, Raife now weighs 14.9 ounces...crazy huh! He is 24 1/8 inches long and is in the 75th percentile for his head size, the 85th percentile for his height and the 100 percentile for his weight! Brett said he did really well and was way tough! He had three shots in his legs and only cried at the initial stick but then immediately stopped, he said he was way proud! You know men, they can't have a wuss...so please note this, Brett is raising a MAN!

Raife's First Vegas Trip!

We had way fun in Vegas, the weather was awesome! We took Raife swimming for the first time(on his 8 week birthday!)...it was so cute! I'm not sure he is totally sold on the idea yet but he didn't scream or anything. The water was a little chilly so his bottom lip totally quivered! It was an under 5 minute experience for him and I can't wait to give him more! Yea Summer, bring it on!

The reason we went to Vegas was to see Bon Jovi's concert! We bought the tickets before Celeste picked us to be Raife's parents so we brought my little sis Brenna along to baby sit! She loved it and luckily brought her camera cause we forgot ours, and thankfully she went a little crazy with the pics!...maybe we'll hire her as our personal photographer!lol

So we took her camera with us to the concert but they wouldn't allow cameras in with a detachable lens so we had to check it, total bummer but the concert was amazing, the best concert we've both ever been to! And can I just say that Bon Jovi is much hotter in person! The only thing that sucked was we didn't get any pictures.

Anyway, we are posting all the pictures because for some reason we couldn't get any of the pictures to email to Celeste and Kason...so sorry about the repetitive pics but I like to send them everything!

Happy Easter

1 Month

Yesterday Raife turned one month old! Already the time seems to be flying by...its hard to imagine ourselves with out Raife! We had so much fun yesterday. We were able to go to Orem and See Raife's Birth Parents and his Birth Fathers parents! Celeste was there visiting family and friends. We were nervous about meeting Kason's parents but fell inlove with them immediately...which shouldn't be surprising seeing how thats how we felt when we met Celeste and Kason! It was the same when we met Celeste's family as well.

We have been so blessed with such a sweet baby but our blessings don't stop there...we are so thankful to have such a wonderful and open relationship with Raife's biological family! We love them all so much!

We also stopped by and visited my Grandparents and our neice who is attending BYU. It was so fun to see them and have them meet Raife...they were all quite taken with him, especially his Great Grandma! She couldn't stop raving about how sweet he is.

Thank you so much for all of your love and support, I can't help but get emotional about all the comments that have been made on our blog regarding Raife! We are so lucky to have the family and friends that we do!
